Lost & Found

The Lost & Found section is located right outside the auditorium.  Be sure to check there if your child is missing items like books, backpacks, jackets, etc.  All items unclaimed will be donated at the end of the year!

Snack Cart

Snack Cart is available after school every Wednesday AND Friday!  Proceeds benefit the grade hosting each week for things like field trips and assemblies.

Hello Playa Families!

Toys/Pokemon Go Cards
Reminder that any toys or Pokémon Go collection cards are not to be used by students on campus during school hours, including during breakfast, recess and lunch as of January 17th. It’s recommended that these items be left at home as school staff is not responsible for lost, damaged or misplaced items.  Even though many of our students have worked to have nice collections, please help spread the word that they are to remain at home to enjoy with family and friends. Thank you in advance for your help.

School Experience Surveys
The 2016-17 School Experience Survey (SES) have arrived!! Every parent should have received one survey per household. Please take the time to complete the survey and return to your child’s teacher. Your family will have a chance to enter a raffle for winning gift card.  If you’re new to completing a school survey, it’s a school document that reports on how well our school and students are meeting the District’s goals in regards to our school climate,  social and emotional learning, proficiency, and parent involvement. It’s an opportunity to get your input and have all voices heard. Options to complete the survey can be either on paper or on online. The online option will not be available until January 17th. When the live link opens, please log in at: http://bit.ly.lausd2017.  All surveys are due by Friday, February 10th.  Thank you for your support!!!

  1. Note: Parents Can Fill in Items If Bubbles Are Missing On the Paper Version: 
    Be advised that items #27 and 33 on the English parent survey does not have circular bubbles. Parents should still mark their answer in the approximate area to have their responses for that item reported. 

Authorization and Photo Release Information
We would like to highlight the many exciting educational activities happening right here at Playa del Rey with the surrounding community through our school website and LAUSD family members. Therefore, we need your help to complete the Authorization and Photo Release form (orange) that was sent home with your child. After reviewing, please return the completed form with your signature to your child’s classroom teacher. Feel free to contact us for any additional concerns or questions.
